Hello again!
Sorry to be a pest. Im just wondering of there are any settings that I have to do beyond server packages,server actors,etc. The reason I ask is that when I play my friend from Peru on my server he is always super laggy. He has 125ping an I have 60. Then when I play someone from Europe with 150 ping I become laggier than them! I am confused...lol. Thanks

The lag caused by using RXPosError mutator maybe, try to remove that mutator and try again.

Hi Medor!

Here's the UN1E ini. And the Server Packages and Actors. Out of curiosity I just stripped the server down to NN, Nexgen, and Mapvote. I set up one column in map vote for NN and one without. I will get my friend to try both. Also, I did remove the RXPosError yesterday, but when we played today it was still bad. Thanks!

You have in UT.ini

ServerActors=UN1e.NewNetServer
so all your CustomGameConfig are UN1e NewNet

CustomGameConfig[3]= have UN1e.NewNetServer but it's already launched with ServerActors=UN1e.NewNetServer
CustomGameConfig[0]= is not "no newnet" but ServerActors=UN1e.NewNetServer


The friend from Peru at 150 must play with no lag for all ; this is probably his UT player bad configured.



If you remove this line ServerActors=UN1e.NewNetServer
your config will be a dm with newnet and the other without

tell me if CacheSizeMegs = 0, does it mean that the cache is unlimited? Or does it mean that the cache is not allocated?

Thanks Medor. Sorry, this UT ini was my original before I recently changed it to a leaner version. In my new barebones setup I removed ServerActor=UN1e.NewNetServer and left it in my mapvote so I could have a server with and without newnet. You are probably right about my friends setup. I dont know what the ineternet service is like in Peru!

On a side note, do you know why I lag when I play higher ping players? ie: I have 60 ping and they have 200? I always feel like the laggy one and they see me first. Thanks for your help.
